Ingenious Engines and Clockwork Enigmas

A Jimland Scrapbook

Following is a collection of colored daguerreotypes documenting the adventures of Fearless and Famous Explorers Miss Nellie Bly and young Dr. George Challenger in Jimland during the autumn of 1890. The log of the First Bly Expedition is forthcoming.

I humbly take credit for painting all figures and scratch building all terrain. They are intended to demonstrate that 15mm figures are entirely suitable for colonial adventure wargaming. I will be the first to admit that one of the main reasons I decided upon 15mm figures was that I am hopeless at painting faces. With these little guys, a dip in brown ink and Future floor polish suffices.

Adventures in Jimland is now available on the Terra Incognita website.
